While the enemy of kids MTB’s is typically sluggish handling and heavy weight, the ByK E-620 MTBG (Girl’s Mountain Bike) is seriously light and has the performance to rival a World Cup bike.

Like the entire ByK Range, the ByK E-620 MTBG (Girl’s Mountain Bike) is not a scaled down adult bike. Every single component has been considered, tested, custom sized and tuned to suit our rider’s profile. Our unique ergonomic riding position and geometry offer a range of riding positions and adjustability unexpected at this size.

Performance:

We have weighed every single component, measured to a millimeter the geometry and ergonomics and tested on every trail we could find. Our long list of premium components is outstanding.

We have broadened the range of our world class Microshift Rapidfire 9 Speed Trigger Shifter Gears. We’ve customised the tuning of our off-road suspension forks for kids specific use and made them on-road friendly with lock out control.

You’ll also see we’ve increased the power of our V brakes to match the performance of many disc brakes down hill but at the same time saved a huge amount of weight so the rider can get up and over hills too. We have strengthened our wheels, used extra grip lightweight tyres, an ergonomic saddle and customised our unique V bars for off-road fun.

From our responsive handling to increased safety at speed, the ByK E-620 MTBG (Girl’s Mountain Bike) sets new standards in safety. The innovative frame improves balance and control to help each rider operate at the safest level possible.

To make a children’s bike safe, the rider needs to be able to brake efficiently and confidently. The custom-sized V-Brakes we have used are calibrated for age, ability and ergonomic fit. And they are made of non-flexing, strong and light alloy. Our light weight alloy rims ensure pedalling is easier. But more importantly alloy rims are a more efficient braking surface than cheaper, chrome-plated steel rims, and are therefore safer.
